Start recording from the Lock Screen

iPhone: long-press the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen. Tap a button slot at the bottom and choose Allsaid "Record". On iPhone 15 Pro and newer you can also use Settings › Action Button › Controls.

Android: swipe down twice from the top, tap the pencil, and drag the "Record" tile into your tiles.

Voice commands

iPhone: "Hey Siri, start recording in Allsaid" and "Hey Siri, stop recording in Allsaid". These also appear in the Shortcuts app. Android: long-press the app icon for Start recording and Stop recording.

The first summary takes a while

The first summary downloads the AI model you picked, between 0.8 and 2.5 GB. Do it once on Wi-Fi with the app open. After that, summaries work offline.

Which summary model should I pick?

Settings › Summary model marks the one recommended for your phone, and "Automatic" uses it. If the app closes while summarizing, pick a smaller model.

Name the voices

Settings › Your voice › Record my voice, so you are named in transcripts. After a recording, tap "Name" next to a voice and Allsaid will recognize that person next time.

Restore a purchase

Allsaid checks your purchases each time it starts. If Pro doesn't show, open Settings, tap Get Pro under Allsaid Pro, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple or Google account you bought with.

Privacy

Your recordings stay on your phone. Read the privacy policy.
